Hey all, my name is Sydney, I’m a Christian witch and I would like to welcome you to my little collection of witchiness (and some nerdiness). I’m pretty new to witchcraft at this point, so I claim no expertise, but I’m always up for discussion! Warning: I’m not the best at staying on topic, so there might be a lot of unrelated posts. If you’ve been around a long time on my blog you may be aware of the hardships I went through earlier this year. I was living in an abusive situation and saving up all I could to get my life on a better track.
I can gratefully say that my life has definitely improved. I am no longer in such an abusive environment and have built up a strong support system, in addition to receiving treatment for my mental illness. The trouble is, now I am struggling around this holiday season to make money for rent and other essential things like medication and groceries. This is due to a number of things including hours being cut at my place of employment, an increase in insurance prices, and my beloved puppy getting ta terrible ear infection and needing antibiotics.
I am willing to do any spellwork or tarot services in return for anything donated to my PayPal (linked here). I also run an Etsy shop (linked here) where I handmake LGBT+ items if you’d like to look at any of my products. Every penny helps. I hate to be asking this, especially around the holiday season, but I truly am in need of a little help. If you could also reblog this message so that I might be able to make rent for next month.

Pentacle was actually a protective symbol hundreds of years before Wicca
even existed. It is associated with it today, but it is definitely is
not Wiccan-exclusive.

If you’re like me, it may be hard for you to figure out what to write in your grimoire, let alone write in it regularly. Here is a little challenge that I’ve created for topics to write about everyday for a week. Can you conquer the challenge?
✰ Sunday: Figure out your astrology chart. Write down what it means. Draw your own chart from scratch. Extra challenge- write down what every astrology alignment means.
✰ Monday: Learn and record the properties of different crystals. Highlight on the ones that are important to you. List what they can be used for. Extra challenge- try drawing or painting a picture of each crystal to put along side.
✰ Tuesday: Make a page for auras. List what the different colors and places mean. Extra challenge- try to see your own or someone else’s aura and record the experience.
✰ Wednesday: Get acquainted with the moon and its phases. List what kinds of spells are good for which phase of the moon. Talk about moon water and what it can be used for. Extra challenge- try one of the spells and record how it went down.
✰ Thursday: Dedicate this day for tarot cards or runes. Learn and record what each card/rune means and how it can be translated. Extra challenge- draw your own tarot card.
✰ Friday: Write down the symbolism of things. Do research on old superstitions and what certain occurrences mean. Extra challenge- look for symbols in your own life, record them, and interpret what they could mean.
✰ Saturday: Go out with a bang and learn more about astral projecting and/or meditation. Write down some things that could be experienced or what others have said they experienced. Extra challenge- do meditations regularly and try to step foot in the astral plane. Make little summaries of what happened (if anything) after each session.
